
Michael Korman is the founding partner at Korman & Korman LLP. He has been practicing Immigration and Refugee Law in Canada for over 30 years. Michael's area of expertise is Canadian Immigration law, with a particular emphasis on refugee claims to the Refugee Protection Division and appeals of immigration officers' decisions to the Immigration Appeal Division. He also appears regularly in the Federal Court of Canada on judicial review applications. Over the years, many of Michael's appeal cases have been cited in Canadian Law Journals, including the Immigration Law Reporter. Michael has lectured on Canadian Immigration law at the college level and has given numerous seminars on the topic to community organizations in and around Toronto. He has also written a number of articles on key issues in the field of Canadian Immigration Law. Michael obtained his B.Sc. at McGill University and his LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1992.
