Elyse Korman

Elyse Korman is a partner at Korman & Korman LLP. Elyse assists clients in all aspects of Canadian immigration law, with an emphasis on refugee law matters. She is a passionate advocate for refugee claimants in Canada. Elyse represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and has developed particular expertise in appellate matters before the Refugee Appeal Division and the Federal Court of Canada.  Elyse currently acts as counsel on over 100 appellate cases every year. She also represents clients on a wide range of matters, including Pre-Removal Risk Assessment applications and Humanitarian and Compassionate applications. Elyse obtained a B.A. from McGill University and a J.D. from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2005. In 2017, Elyse was awarded the Lexpert Zenith Award for Women in Law to recognize her advocacy on behalf of refugee claimants in Canada.
